How Armenia creates a new ‘Silicon Valley’ in the Caucasus

Impressive is technological progress in Armenia where education in the field starts very early with students’ participation in the ARMATH program. In a typical three -storey public school on the outskirts of Grevan, the capital of Armenia, children enthusiastically present his inventions: toys, robots, applications and projects for smart homes. These young inventors attend courses in engineering workshops in a 2014 program and is called Armath which according to the BBC, in English means “root”. Today there are 650 ARMATH workshops in schools throughout Armenia.
