The toy lineHot Wheels “, from the Mattel , got a new animated series on streaming. “Hot Wheels Let's Race ” premiered on Netflix this Monday (4).
The production presents adventurous characters participating in races in colorful settings, like the toys themselves.
The novelty brings to the plot new pilots of cars: Coop, Spark, Mac, Brights, Axel and Sidecar. They participate in the camp for racing drivers in which they have to accelerate a lot and perform extreme stunts.
The new animation was developed by Rob David, vice president of creative content at Mattel Television.
He was also responsible for creating other recent Netflix animations, such as “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”.
“Hot Wheels is a world-renowned brand that awakens and encourages the adventurous spirit that lives within every child to help them reach their true potential,” said David, in a press release.
It was created in partnership with Melanie Shannon, senior creative director of content at Mattel Television, who also worked on “Masters of the Universe: Revelation”, and Jordan Gershowitz (“Sharkdog”).

For fans who want to take the series home, Mattel has launched a line of Hot Wheels toys with vehicles and scenes inspired by the new production.
The “T-Rex Super Truck” and “Ultimate Garage” are part of the new collection, as well as the “Desafio Pista Extrema Conjunto” and “Ataque de Cobra vs Pizzeria”, which appear in the series.
