Four men were held hostage during a cargo theft on Friday night (25) in Guarulhos, São Paulo Metropolitan Region. The victims, aged 30 to 57, worked as drivers and escort security guards on a truck that carried imported products, especially cell phones.
The men were approached on the Ayrton Senna highway, height of Km 16 in Guarulhos, by a gang of approximately ten armed suspects. According to reports, criminals used three cars in the action and forced the vehicle’s stop using firearms.
Then the suspects kept the victims arrested until they arrived in the Josefina Leme Zamataro Alameda in Guarulhos, where the load was overflowed. After unloading part of the products, the hostages were locked in the truck chest and released minutes later.
According to the São Paulo Public Security Bureau, six mobile boxes and nine aluminum volumes were stolen. The Military Police managed to recover the goods. Several weapons, ammunition and ballistic vests used by criminals were also found.
Also on Friday night (25), a stolen vehicle was located in the north of São Paulo, during patrolling the Military Police. Police received information about a car with armed men on Fernão Dias Highway. After being seen, the suspects would have fled.

Inside the car were seized 28 boxes containing various goods, one optical aim, three vehicle plates, 179 ammunition, six compatible porters, a revolver, four pistols, two ballistic vests, a shotgun and a load of clothing valued at about $ 150,000.
So far the suspects have not been found. The case was registered in the 1st Police District of Guarulhos and the 73rd Police District of Jaçanã.
