After more than three years of negotiations, the member states of the World Health Organization today approved a historical agreement with the aim of better preparation and coordinated struggle against future pandemics. “Its Member States who took a big step forward in efforts to make the world safer than pandemics, forging a plan to be considered at the next World Health Summit in May,” the organization, part of the UN system, explained in the press release.
