Hezbollah: We fired missiles at an Israeli base near Tel Aviv

Hezbollah announced today that it had fired rockets at Israel’s Sde Dov air base near Tel Aviv, the second attack in a few hours by the Lebanese group targeting the Israeli territory. The Shiite organization emphasized that it “launched Fadi 4 missiles at the Sde Dov airbase” in response to “attacks against civilians and massacres committed by the enemy”. He said the two attacks were in retaliation for the killing of its leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike on Friday in Beirut. The Israeli armed forces stressed for their part that numerous rockets were fired from Lebanon and fell on uninhabited areas in central Israel. Sirens sounded this morning in central Israel, the Israeli army announced, while earlier it had pointed out that missiles had been fired from Lebanon. Source: RES
