THE Diamond Films revealed the national trailer for “Heretic “, new horror movie starring Hugh Grant (“Bridget Jones’s Diary”). In addition to the preview, the distributor confirmed the release of the film for November 20th .
“Heretic” will follow the story of two missionaries who, when trying to evangelize an eccentric man end up being trapped in their home. As they face the host’s strange and malevolent behaviors, they begin to question their own faith. Find out more about the film .
In addition to Grant, the production’s cast includes Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets”) and Chloe East (“The Fabelmans”).
“Heretic” will be shown at AFI Fest , one of the main pre-Oscar events . The production will be there alongside titles such as “Canina” and the Brazilian “Still I’m Here”.
The film is directed by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck (both from “A Quiet Place”).
