He wanted his freedom and thought to go down balcony – balcony 15 floors – Watch the video

Freedom is a great thing. That is why even when we have it, we must maintain it at all costs. When we lose it for some reason we have to think twice and thrice about what we are willing to do to win it. And if in the end what we decide will have an effect or will bring us more trouble.

The above figure probably did not concern a man in Auckland Australia who was in a hotel room under electronic surveillance and wanted to escape from the “bracelet” and gain his freedom.

So he decided to run away from his prison hotel by going down balcony-balcony 15 whole floors!

His ambitious plan was even recorded on camera by a TikToker who posted it on the platform making it viral.

Frame by frame his attempt to escape

The video shared on TikTok on Tuesday shows the man dressed in a shirt, red hat, gloves and backpack to climb outside the railing of the balcony of about 15 floors of a hotel and to go down to the balcony from below.

Auckland Police confirmed that they monitored the Barclay Suites building at around 2pm and arrested a 34-year-old man who allegedly violated the guarantee that his electronic surveillance required.

The clip shows the man standing outside the railing on his balcony. Then he falls from the concrete balcony – he is held by the railing with his hands while his legs are hanging in the air.

He manages to press the railing from below and maneuver on the balcony below, while shocked bystanders watch the scene from the street and their balconies.

Three police cars gather on the street below and an officer appears to be sprinting inside the building.

People who commented on the clip said the trick was not worth the risk.

“She will finish it quarantine in a cell “, commented a user.

“The lockdown makes people literally climb walls,” added another.
