As reported Deadline, the talk was about the future of animation on the big screen, as his moving adaptation of the classic fairy tale about the wooden puppet finally came to life because of Netflix and not because the director from Guadalajara hadn’t tried to bring it to theaters in the last ten years.
Guillermo del Toro is an acclaimed director, screenwriter, producer, and novelist with two Oscars to his credit for the 2017 film the shape of water.
