A group that diverted sporting supplies from Granja Comary, headquarters of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) was arrested on Thursday (24) by the Civil Police, in the city of Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro.
They were arrested at the time they left the institution’s headquarters, carrying R $ 50,000 between materials and equipment. According to the agents, the group was monitored after complaints made by employees of the confederation security sector.
Police officers got information that one of the vehicles used by criminals would leave the headquarters of the CBF with the equipment subtracted. A siege was made in the area and the car was approached.
Balls, showers, uniforms and other CBF exclusive materials were inside the vehicle. All material was seized by the police. Watch a video below :
Three people were arrested in the act and taken to the Teresópolis Police Station (110th DP). They were charged for theft and receiving crimes.
Investigations continue to identify other possible involved.
