Greece and Cyprus remain on list of ‘unfriendly countries’ to Russia – Only exceptions from the EU, Hungary and Slovakia

The Russian government has published a list of countries that Moscow says are exhibiting “destructive behavior that contradicts Russian spiritual and moral values,” following a decision by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. This list, which is a restatement of the list of countries “unfriendly” to Russia after the imposition of mutual sanctions, includes Cyprus, Greece, and almost all EU countries, with the exception of Hungary and Slovakia, as well as members of NATO, except Turkey, according to the Cyprus News Agency. In total, the list includes 47 countries and territories, including the US, the UK, as well as “Western coalition” countries such as Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Taiwan.
