The Grammy Academy announced, this Thursday (14), that comedian Trevor Noah will return to the Grammy stage as host for the fourth consecutive time in 2024.
After hosting in 2021, 2022 and 2023, Trevor will host music’s biggest awards ceremony on February 4th.
In a statement published on its website, the Grammys explained more about the (former) new choice:
“In his previous years as a host, Noah was praised for his ability to combine humor with a deep appreciation for music, creating a seamless and engaging experience for both in-house audiences and local viewers. Her return for the 2024 GRAMMYs is a testament to her impact and popularity in the role.”
It is worth remembering that Trevor Noah was nominated for a 2020 Grammy, in the category of Best Comedy Album for the project “Son of Patricia”. However, the comedian ended up losing to Dave Chapelle.
Singer SZA leads the 2024 Grammy nominations, cited in 9 categories. In this edition, three new categories were added — best African music performance, best alternative jazz album and best pop dance recording.
