Kendrick Lamar was the big winner of the night, taking five gramophones with one song. “Not Like US” finished the awards of Song of the Year , Recording of the year , Best rap song , Best rap performance and Best Musical Video .
Beyoncé arrived at the awards as the most appropriate artist, competing for 11 awards – which made her the most appropriate artist in the history of the awards, with 99 awards. At the end of the day, she won only three gramophones, but won the most important of them with the new victory in the album category of the year, with “Cowboy Carter”.
