Government begins to remove families from Favela do Moinho, in downtown SP

The government of São Paulo began, on the morning of Tuesday (22), the Removal of residents from the Moinho favela located in the Elíseos fields, central São Paulo.

The Housing and Urban Development Company (CDHU) plans to restructure the Moinho favela area, with the implementation of Parque do Moinho, in order to prevent new occupations.

The government of São Paulo stated that will offer 1,500 houses to the residents of Favela do Moinho contemplating all who live in the region.
