Google Maps, Google's mapping and geolocation platform, is testing a new functionality that will indicate to users where exactly the entrance to buildings is.
For now, the test can only be seen by a small group of users, but, after this phase, it will be expanded and applied across the entire website, which can also be accessed via an app.
The new feature aims to help users more easily find the entrance to very large buildings with extensions on more than one street, such as on a corner, for example.
The functionality should also facilitate the work of app drivers and delivery people who need to quickly arrive at the entrance of buildings.
During the tests, the entrances to the buildings were marked with small green arrows.
The information was initially released last Monday (4) by the Android Police website
