Goalkeeper Bruno’s wife announces crowdfunding to pay alimony for the athlete’s son

With arrest decreed on August 10 for the delay in paying the alimony of his son with Eliza Samudio, goalkeeper Bruno opened an online crowdfunding to raise the debt money, which totals R$90,000.

In a video posted last Sunday (13) on the athlete’s social media, his current wife, beautician Ingrid Calheiros, explains Bruno’s situation before the courts and asks for help to make the payment.

According to her, even after trying to negotiate an agreement, payment plans and installments, “nothing was accepted”. According to the decision of the 17th Civil Chamber of Rio de Janeiro, there has been no deposit since January 2020, totaling R$ 90.7 thousand in debt. The athlete’s defense tried to revoke the measure, justifying the payment of four overdue installments, in the amount of R$ 9,700 each.

“Remembering that Bruno is obliged to pay alimony, but he is prevented from working. He was in prison for almost 10 years and no one believes he doesn’t have any more money, no one believes he lost everything to lawyers, no one believes he doesn’t have any kind of asset anymore, income,” Ingrid said.

“So I decided to create an online crowdfunding, maybe it’s an impulse, maybe it’s a mistake, but it’s an attempt. We don’t have that money and I don’t know what to do. I only know that I have a daughter who depends a lot on her father, she is only four years old, Bruno has two more daughters who also need him and I came here to count on you. You who are a fan of Bruno, you who know Bruno, who want to help in some way, I will leave the link for us to try to help you.”

Until the publication of this report, R$ 14,581.55 had been collected from 131 “supporters”.

In a semi-open home regime since 2019, the goalkeeper announced his retirement from the fields in 2021, coming back this year after being presented as the new reinforcement of Atlético Carioca, which disputes the Série C of the Campeonato Carioca, signing the contract until the end of the season. 2022
