Gol disclosed this Tuesday (8) that it recorded a net loss of R$884.6 million in the third quarter, compared to a loss of R$872 million a year earlier.
Such performance excludes losses with net exchange variation of 1.485 billion reais, among other items.
Net operating revenue jumped 96.4% year-on-year, to R$1.9 billion, while operating costs and expenses increased 53.7%, to R$2.7 billion. Recurring operating Ebitda increased 63.6% to R$ 464.7 million
The airline also presented perspectives for the fourth quarter, when it forecasts 29% growth in planned capacity compared to the same period in 2020, with increased vaccination and the summer travel season in Brazil.
“We see growth in sales until the end of the year, and we are confident that this trend will continue in 2022”, said Gol’s CEO, Paulo Kakinoff, in the material on the balance sheet.
The company also stated that it estimates ending the current quarter with BRL 3.8 billion in liquids, from BRL 2.08 billion at the end of the third quarter.
The net debt is estimated at around BRL 15.8 billion, from BRL 15.5 billion at the end of September
