New poll record notes the Alternative for the Germany (AfD) in the latest public opinion survey, with Christian Union (CDU/CSU) to maintain her lead, leaving behind the parties of the government coalition (SPD, Greens, FDP).

However, German public opinion seems divided when asked about the war in Ukraine. 56% believe that it will not end through diplomatic channels, while 41% have the opposite opinion. In addition, 41% believe that in order to end the war, the West should pressure Ukraine to cede territory to Russia, and 43% answer the question in the negative.
