According to a poll by the Forsa Institute on behalf of the private broadcasters RTL and ntv, 66% of Germans intend to reduce the heating at home, but 33% say they do not wish to do so.
Regarding the state emergency plan for natural gas shortages, 58% believe that level 3 rightly prioritizes households over industry, while 34% disagree.
However, 51% of respondents believe that the sanctions that have been imposed against Russia ultimately hurt Germany itself more. A different assessment is expressed by 39%.
