Germany confirmed Thursday 11.287 new cases of coronavirus, registering the largest rise in a single day so far, according to the latest statistics published by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
The total count now stands at 392.049. On Tuesday, the count increased by 7.830.
The death toll rose to 30, bringing the total to 9.905. The increase in the daily death count has had a downward trend.
It should be taken into account that with the arrival of autumn, infection rates accelerate in the main European economies, including Spain, France and Italy.

On Thursday, the EUR / USD pair returns to the red zone, as the dollar recovers amid widespread risk aversion.
