Eric Kripke, executive producer of the series “Gen V” (derived from “The Boys”), explained how the production will address the absence of Andrew Anderson . The character was played by the actor Chance Perdomo what died in a motorcycle accident in March this year.
According to Eric, recording for “Gen V” is in its third week and the team already has the fate of Chance’s character planned in the series.
“It’s undeniably tragic, my heart goes out to his family. We are not trying to replace him, we will portray the character’s death in the series. It’s very heavy and it’s very difficult emotionally for the cast. We’re just trying to honor Chance in the best way possible,” Eric said in an interview with TVLine.
To the vehicle, Eric also said that the next episodes of “Gen V” will be “very intense”. “We are going very deep into the story and the characters,” he emphasized.
The second season of “Gen V” does not yet have a premiere date. What is known is that the story will take place after the events of the fourth season of “The Boys”, which premieres on June 13th.
In his most recent role, Perdomo starred in the “Gen V” spin-off “The Boys” as Andre Anderson, a popular student and Luke’s best friend with magnetic manipulation capabilities.
Before his time in “Gen V”, he played one of the main roles in “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”, as the cousin of the little witch, Ambrose Spellman.
