Hamas announced on Monday that she has received a proposal from Israel to cease fire in the Gaza Strip, but stressed that one of the main terms of the Israeli side – her disarmament – is a “red line” and will not be discussed. According to a Hamas official who spoke to the French Agency, the Israeli proposal provides for “the release of half hostages” in the first week after reaching an agreement in exchange for a “at least 45 -day” ceasefire and to enter humanitarian aid into the strip. In the proposal transmitted to Egyptian mediators, Israel also demands the disarmament of all Palestinian factions in Gaza as a prerequisite for the “definitive end” of the war.
