Gang used thermos to send drugs to Europe, PF points out

The Federal Police (PF) of Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo, disrupted a criminal association aimed at international drug trafficking in an operation triggered on Wednesday (2).

The operation was named by White Coffee in reference to how cocaine trafficking was done: in coffee thermos . The characteristic of the container, with metallic and mirrored interior material, was used to circumvent inspection.

The investigation began from a flagrant drug trafficking last year, by the São Paulo State Military Police, when a clandestine drug laboratory was found on Francisco Glicério Avenue, Campinas (SP).

In the act, two men were arrested for having 1kg of cocaine to be sent to Italy inside thermos .

The investigation identified a “sophisticated group” focused on drug preparation, packaging and concealment. Cocaine was sent to Portugal, England, Italy, Germany, Denmark and Dubai .

To the Thermos with drugs They were placed on air orders along with other ordinary objects that aimed to make customs supervision difficult.

The investigated have “technician in the drug handling process, including fentanil, express shipments, using a facade company, expertise in financial accounting focused on maximizing ciphered gains and language”, according to PF.

This Wednesday (2), were fulfilled eight pre -trial detention warrants and Eleven search and seizure warrants in the cities of Campinas (SP) and Santo Antônio de Posse (SP).

In addition to the arrests and searches, the Federal Police got the BLOCK OF GOODS AND VALUES that were found in the investigation.

Criminals are investigated for international drug trafficking, association for trafficking and money laundering.
