“Game of Thrones” creators say they would change details about the series

The creators of the series “Game of Thrones” stated this Wednesday (17) that they would change some aspects of the production, which is one of HBO's most successful.

David Benioff and Dan Weiss agreed that they would have liked to have included the character Mord, the jailer, in the serial fiction again.

“One thing I wish we had done was the character of Mord the Jailer,” Benioff said. “It was a mistake not to bring Mord the Jailer back. We always talked about doing this”, added Weiss.

The statement was given in interview with The Hollywood Reporter, published this Wednesday.

Mord the Jailer was a bandit guard played by Ciaran Bermingham who had been put in charge of the Sky Cells at Eyrie. Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) was tormented by him, but freed himself after bribing him.

For the creators of the series, Mord could have been the owner of the tavern.

“We could have that background actor acting exactly like he did as a jailer, except now as a small business owner. It was such an obvious idea for the next day.”

Despite agreeing on this point, the two creators refused to question other parts of “Game of Thrones” because they understood that this would not benefit them, nor HBO or the workers involved with the production.
