An attempted theft that ended tragically. Sandro Fiorelli, 58, owner of a tobacconist’s – bookshop, yesterday evening, around 8 pm, he would have surprised three men with balaclavas, who were stealing from his house (an accomplice was waiting in the car). It happened in Santopadre, in the province of Frosinone. One of the thieves, armed, he would point the gun at him.
Thus, the landlord would have fired a shot with his shotgun, legally detained, hitting one of the three criminals fleeing along the driveway to his house, then he would have fired again in the air, to scare the others. Who fled to the countryside around the house. But the man hit, Mirel Joaca Bine, a 34-year-old of Romanian nationality, he was dead.
In a few minutes the carabinieri, police and Ares 118 arrived on the scene dynamics of the facts, however, it still is all to be clarified: the investigations are coordinated by the Deputy Prosecutor Marina Marra of the Cassino Public Prosecutor’s Office, who ordered the autopsy on the body of Mirel Joaca Bine.

The trader, who was questioned by the magistrate and the military, allegedly claimed to have acted for self defense. “While he was running away with his accomplices, he pointed the gun at me. Meanwhile, throughout the night, the search for accomplices continued in the countryside of Santopadre, who would be part of a very active criminal gang in the area. For now, against the tobacconist, it has not been arranged no detention order. “We have just begun to investigate,” explained the carabinieri.
