YouTuber Paulo Cezar Siqueira, known as PC Siqueira, was found dead in his apartment on Wednesday afternoon (27), in São Paulo. The case was registered by the 11th Police District as a completed suicide.
The São Paulo native from Guarulhos gained fame in 2010, being part of the so-called “first generation of YouTube”, with his channel “DAMMIT” , where he published various videos. He was even considered “Webcelebrity of the year” the following year.
From 2011 onwards, he began to combine his activities on the internet with his work as a presenter on MTV, where he led the programs “PC on TV” , “MTV Games” It is “Never Summer” . In 2013, he was released by the broadcaster.
In 2015, he returned to television with the program “Jorgecast” with Cauê Moura, on PlayTV. The two, alongside Rafinha Bastos, created the YouTube channel “Barbados Island” in 2017.
In the same period, PC revealed that he suffered from anxiety, panic syndrome and depression – topics frequently discussed by the YouTuber on social media.
In 2019, he participated in the reality show “The Apprentice” which aired on Rede Bandeirantes.
During the coronavirus pandemic, PC stopped being part of “Barbados Island” after being accused of pedophilia. A video circulating on social media showed an alleged exchange of messages in which he admitted to acts of pedophilia.
At the time, he repudiated the accusations and claimed to be the target of a “criminal conspiracy” that tried to accuse him of something he would never commit, and classified the accusation as a “blatant and grotesque lie”.
“If we pay attention to this disgusting video, it takes 1 minute and 31 seconds for the cell phone clock to change! The forgers didn't even take that care. Additionally, the check symbol has a different spacing than the true one. It’s all there, for anyone who wants to see it,” he said on social media at the time.
The operator of the supposed video line is prepaid from the United States. The cell phone is a Samsung and is recording the screen of an iPhone. In short, there is a lot of evidence that demonstrates bad forgery. The most important one is that it’s not me,” he said.
The police investigation found no evidence in the case.
After the case went viral, PC changed the name of his YouTube channel and reported experiencing financial problems, starting to advertise for R$100. This year, he began working as a tattoo artist.
