From Kate Middleton to King Charles, here’s where the royals love to vacation

It’s time to relax, even for royalty. And members of the British royal family, like all mere mortals, have gods places of the heart where they love to spend their holidays. One of King’s favourites Charles III and Queen Camilla is there Birkhall estate in Scotland. Charles inherited it on the death of the Queen Mother, his grandmother, in 2002. And it seems that he went there in honeymoon with Camilla in 2005. Another refuge much loved by sovereigns is Highgrove House, the family home two and a half hours from London designed by Carlo, a passionate gardener, to spend stays «in harmony with nature». Just 15 minutes from Highgrove is there Ray Mill House, Camilla’s private residence in Wiltshire. Queen she bought it in 1996 after her divorce from Andrew Parker Bowles and lived there until 2003.
