Frio arrives in the Southeast from this Wednesday and should remain over the weekend

A mass of polar air approaching the Southeast, coming from the South, promises to bring temperatures down in this region of the country this week.

With two weeks to go before winter, some Brazilian capitals should already start to feel the effects of an intense mass of polar air that advances in the dawn of Thursday (9) over Brazil, bringing the cold to the entire Center-South, according to to Climatempo.

Low temperatures will be felt in Rio Grande do Sul, mountainous region of Santa Catarina and Paraná, São Paulo, southwest of Mato Grosso and central-north of Mato Grosso do Sul.

This Wednesday, São Paulo should have a maximum of 21ºC and a minimum of 16ºC. There are chances of rain at any time of the day, which will be cloudy.

While Rio de Janeiro will have sun with many clouds during the day and night with the possibility of drizzle. The maximum should not exceed 26ºC and the minimum is 17ºC.

In Vitória (ES), the maximum should be 27ºC and the minimum of 15ºC, there is no forecast of rain.

In Belo Horizonte (MG), the capital of Minas Gerais can see the thermometers with a minimum of 13ºC and a maximum of 27ºC. The day will be cloudy and there is no forecast of rain.

Forecast for the weekend

Saturday (11) in Rio de Janeiro should dawn with a rainy day and the minimum temperature forecast is 16ºC. The maximum should reach 22ºC. Sunday (12) can get even colder in the state capital. Thermometers must mark a minimum of 15ºC and a maximum of 21ºC.

Paulistanos can dress up. The maximum temperature should not exceed 16ºC on Saturday and the minimum will be 11ºC. There is a possibility of drizzle throughout the day, according to Climatempo.

On Sunday, the day starts with a mist that drops the thermometers even more and the minimum should be 10ºC. The maximum is no more than 16ºC.
