French elections: The big newspapers are calling on the people to vote for Macron

The “day of crisis” for the French has arrived, with their second round presidential elections to be considered crucial not only for the country, but also for the whole of Europe. For this reason, the major French newspapers take a clear stand in support of him Emanuel Macron.

The newspaper Le Parisien called on its readers not to “aggravate the global crisis” by voting for “a populist candidate”. The victory of Marin Le Pen would mean the exact opposite of the national unity that is necessary at the moment, the newspaper argued, adding that if the candidate of the far right is elected president, the France will turn into an unreliable partner.

Conservative newspapers Le Monde and Le Figaro Both warned in their main articles against complacency over the head of state’s lead in opinion polls. “There is only one way to help prevent far-right candidate Marin Le Pen from coming to power: to vote for her opponent, Emanuel Macron.”said Mont, adding that she was making this admonition despite the mistakes of the outgoing president and her responsibilities to strengthen the right and the far right in France.

Abstention “is not at all useful to save our country from the hand”added the main article of Mont.
