France, for ten years he drugged his wife and had her raped by strangers

Dominique P., a 71-year-old French pensioner, hid a terrible secret behind an impeccable public image: for about ten years, between 2011 and 2020, he drugged his wife Gisele with sleeping pills and tranquilizers72 years old, raped her and he recruited strangers to rape her in turn, while she was unconscious. The attacks mainly took place in the home of the couple (who have three children), in Mazan, a village of 6,000 inhabitants, in the south of Provence.

His meticulousness in documenting and recording the abuses allowed the French police to track down more than 50 men, aged between 26 and 74recruited through an adult website, suspected of being his accomplices. If convicted, they face up to 20 years in prison for aggravated rape. Eighteen of the 51 defendants, including Dominique P., are already in pretrial detention. The last, still at large, will be tried in absentia. Investigators had initially identified 54 suspects, but one has since died and two others have been ruled out due to lack of evidence.

Many suspects have said that they thought they were helping a libertine couple live out their fantasies sexual. They insisted that they were not raping the victim, but at the same time they did everything they could to avoid waking her up. Gisele has never appeared “conscious” in the videosbut sometimes she could be heard moaning or snoring.

Dominique P. has put together a dossier with thousands of photos and videos of the attackswhich were saved in a folder called “abuse”, with as many subfolders as there were men who had raped Gisele, and who had been called nicknames like “Chris the fireman”, “Quentin”, “Gaston”, “David the black”.

An initial list of 11 contacts recruited via Skype was found in Microsoft’s software: Investigators asked the US giant to help them track down the IP addresses. Police also examined countless phone calls and online conversations between the husband and his wife’s potential attackers. «You’re like me, you like rape style“, Dominique told one of them. It took nearly two years to identify the men behind the phone numbers. The team of investigators also used facial recognition software.

Dominique P.’s double life was discovered by chance when the man was caught filming under skirts women at a local supermarket. When police seized his phone and computer, they found evidence of rape. An investigation was opened, and only then was his wife informed of the abuse she had suffered for nearly a decade. The trial began Monday.
