The special advisor for international affairs to the Presidency of the Republic, Celso Amorim, told Caio Junqueira, a policy analyst at the CNN, that there is an expectation of the withdrawal of Brazilians who are in the Gaza Strip this Saturday (14).

“That’s the expectation. What I heard is that there will be a convoy and that the Israelis themselves are suggesting and organizing it. A convoy with other foreigners too, which should leave tomorrow morning and then, in the afternoon, they would be in the south of Gaza,” he said.

Amorim said that from then on it will be necessary to check the conditions of the crossing from Gaza to Egypt.
