In the period from April 4 to April 10, another social network is in the lead in this parameter, providing the opportunity to view short videos – TikTok. However, so far the gap between VKontakte and its closest competitor is not very large – in a week, according to analysts, users of the Russian social network spent 11.08 billion minutes in a smartphone application, while in TikTok – 13.93 billion minutes.
It should be noted that at the same time, the weekly audience of TikTok in Russia is significantly less than that of the social network VKontakte – 29 million versus 49 million users. Accordingly, according to the average statistics, a VKontakte user spends 3 hours 46 minutes in a mobile application per week, while a TikTok user spends almost three times more on a mobile application – about 8 hours.
