For the first time Tesla Supercharger stations began to charge electric vehicles from other manufacturers

Tesla has launched a pilot program for owners of electric vehicles from other manufacturers – for the first time, the Tesla Supercharger network of charging stations has become available (and useful) for those who prefer to choose a different brand of electric car.

At the moment, ten Tesla Superchargers are participating in the pilot program in different locations in the Netherlands. Cars that support the CCS charging standard will be able to recharge on them. In the near future, it is planned to connect stations in other countries to the project. Note that Tesla now has 25,000 Tesla Superchargers located around the world.

Those who wish are invited to install the Tesla mobile application, select the “charge not Tesla” section in it and add a payment option. It is noted that the prices will be higher than for Tesla owners.

Unlike Tesla owners, drivers of other electric vehicles will have to manually start and stop charging sessions through the app, rather than simply unplugging the vehicle from the mains. They also need to select the correct charging rack in the app.
