Yemen’s Houthi rebels today reported a new bombing barrage in the capital Sanaaa, the responsibility they attributed to the US. The Al Masirah television network, which is affiliated with Houthi, reports that at least 14 air raids hit the wider area of the capital. There were also blows in the al -Jawf province, in the northwestern part of the country. Areas controlled by Houthi in Yemen are bombed almost daily since March 15, when the US has launched a campaign of air raids against the rebels in order to force them to stop threatening merchant ships in the Red Sea. Since November 2023, Houtha have started unleashing attacks by rockets and drones against Israel and ships who believe they were linked to Israel, the US and Britain, saying they were acting on solidarity with the Palestinians in the strip.
