Flip 2023 starts this Wednesday (22); check the schedule

The 2023 Paraty Literary Festival (Flip) starts this Wednesday (22), celebrating its 21st edition. The event runs until November 26th.

This year, the event will honor Patrícia Galvão, known as Pagu, who was a journalist, playwright, poet, translator, cartoonist and cultural critic. This year’s program also features shows by Adriana Calcanhotto and Cid Campos.

Flip has three programming categories: main, educational and Flip+.

The main line of the festival has 20 tables and 8 artistic performances. The educational program has 13 conversation circles and 7 artistic presentations. And the Flip+ program has 17 tables at Casa da Cultura, in addition to 15 cinema sessions

Tickets for the event and tables are available on the event’s official website, with prices varying between R$65 (half price) and R$130 (full price). There is a limit of up to two tickets per table per CPF of each buyer.

Among the names in this edition is Itamar Vieira Junior, author of the renowned book “Torto Arado”.
