We live in an age where conspiracy theories and all sorts of unscientific and paradoxical views thrive. A clip that has reappeared and is breaking the internet shows the moment when a follower of the theory of “flat LandHe denied his “beliefs” while experimenting to prove that the world we live in is not round.
The conspiracy theorists of the Flat Earth believe that the planet is a straight line that has an end and that it does not have the spherical shape we all know based on the hundreds of recording documents from space. So a flat earther theorist mistakenly demystified himself.
An excerpt from the documentary “Behind the Curve” (2018) went viral at Reddit after presenting the follower of the theory to set up an experiment to prove that the Earth is flat, but in fact to prove the opposite.
How the experiment turned boomerang
In the experiment, the man makes holes in two pieces of board. The boards are spaced apart and place a camera until it points directly to the center of both holes.
If the Earth is flat, the theorist believes that one should be able to cast light with a flashlight through both holes without finding any obstacles due to the curvature of the Earth.
In the video, a graphic showed the theory that if the Earth were round, the person would have to hold the lens over their head to explain the curvature so that the camera could see the light through both holes. .
As the experiment unfolds, the person holds the torch at the same level as the holes, but no light appears on the camera. Then they hold it over their heads and the light appears.
The conspiracy theorist seemed lost and all he could say about his “finding” was: “Interest”.
