There are already five dead in the operation carried out by the Civil Police in the Tabajaras community in Copacabana, in the south of Rio de Janeiro. The action was triggered on the morning of Tuesday (15), aiming to comply with two arrest warrants against suspects of involvement in the murder of the agent of the Coordination of Special Resources (Core), João Pedro Marquini.

Marquini was killed on March 30, while returning home accompanied by his wife, Judge Tula Mello. From the early hours of the day, agents of Core and the capital’s homicide division are mobilized in the region, which was the scene of an intense shooting recorded by residents.
