A fire broke out in the early hours of today near the airport and not far from an oil terminal in the seaside resort of Sochi in the Black Sea, as reported by the Russian news agency RIA.
The causes of the fire have not been made known.
Russian news channel Mash posted a video of a large plume of smoke over the city on the Telegram messaging app. According to the same post and as noted by the Athens Agency, explosions were heard before the fire broke out.
