The Federal Police launched the “Operation Prophet” to dismantle a criminal organization accused of carrying out crimes against the National Financial System.
Among those investigated is Rodrigo Reis, businessman and owner of the company RR Consultoria. He was arrested.
On his personal account, with more than 80 thousand followers, Rodrigo shared videos showing financial operations with high profits and encouraging followers to invest.
In one of the videos, he highlighted a supposed profit: “R$2,575.54 in a single entry! What a blessed morning,” he wrote. See below.

Rodrigo also offered life advice and promised help to his followers, saying: “Count on me. I’m a guy who came from the bottom. I can show you exactly how you can get started.”
In addition, I published videos with book recommendations on business and financial education.
Operation Prophet
According to the PF, the name of “Operação Profera” was inspired by the group leader’s use of religion, which aimed to attract more victims and gain the trust of those involved in the scheme.
During the operation, police officers carried out a preventive arrest warrant and 10 search and seizure warrants in cities in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
Goods and valuables were blocked, totaling R$262,799,248.97. It is estimated that the scheme harmed around 10,000 investors.
The investigations began after complaints from victims who alleged that those involved appropriated the amounts invested in a cryptocurrency company and the Forex market.
