The actor Marco Pigoss i, 35, and the Italian filmmaker Marco Calvani 43, got married this past Sunday (1st), in Tuscany, Italy. Together since 2021, the couple had already made their civil union official at the end of 2021, in São Paulo.
Belonging to the same universe as the Brazilian, Calvani is the older brother of the famous actor Luca Calvani known for films such as “When in Rome” (2010) and “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” (2015).
In turn, Marco works as a playwright, director, filmmaker, translator, in addition to having acted in productions such as the film “Caravaggio” (2007) and the series “Borgia” (2011).
In his career as a director, he stood out by being in charge of the play “Oil” which received several awards in France and the USA between 2013 and 2015.
In 2017, Marco Calvani directed the short film “The View from Up Here” which featured the actress Melissa Leo in the cast, winner of the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2011, for her work in “The Fighter”.
