The train that will carry passengers through the largest country in the Middle East – And with a lot of style, according to the designs that have just been released – it’s about to start operating.
THE Dream of the Desert from Saudi Arabia, which is expected to enter the tracks next year, will be the first five -star train in the region. The first images of the 14 carriages were finally revealed.
The result of a partnership between Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) and Arsenale Spa, the Italian luxury brand, the train has scheduled launch for the second half of 2026 . The design was created by ALINE ASMAR D’MMAN architect and designer whose studio, culture in architecture, has headquarters in Paris and Beirut.
The proposal is to raise luxury while incorporating references into Saudi culture and heritage – including elements inspired by destinations such as Alula, Madain Saleh and Hail.
The color palette evokes the Desert Landscapes with golden, beige and dark tones, as well as chrome finishes that reflect the view outside.
The reception lounges refer to a Majlis – the Saudi traditional space where guests are received – and have geometric patterns and hand -to -handal wood details.
The suites bring a sophisticated touch, with Art Deco Influence In the sofas emerald, headboards and curtains, as well as elegant lines and wood panels on the walls.
Attention to details also extends to the common areas. Works of art and photographs of Saudi cultural places will adorn the runners, while the exterior of the train will have a chrome finish with violet details.

The route will depart from Riyadh and follow by the northern rail network. Previously, SAR has announced that Dream of the Desert will offer “rail cruise luxury” style RIAD UNO QURAYYAT near the border with Jordan.
