Free tour through the Center of SP about the history of Coffee in Brazil
O International Coffee Day is celebrated on October 1st and on this date Pátio Metrô São Bento, in partnership with the Caminhos do Triângulo group, launches the Guided Tour – Café and Cafeterias tour that shows the changes that took place in the 19th and 20th centuries, as a result of the period of the Coffee Expansion in Brazil.

The activity is free and takes place in every Saturday in October and November , with departure at 11:00 am and ticket collection from 10:30 am. The meeting point will be at Praça da Colmeia, located inside the enterprise, at São Bento do Metrô Station.
The route goes through the Historic Triangle, in downtown São Paulo. The tour continues along the main streets showing the important points of the time, while visiting places where great coffee shops and restaurants were located, where the elite of São Paulo and important names in history gathered.
These places were meeting points for intellectuals, a stage for political discussions and artistic inspiration.
Coffee has brought transformations at social, economic, political levels and also in the customs and habits of São Paulo society, and today the beloved “Brazilian coffee” is present in the routine of the entire population.

THE Sao Paulo oktoberfest one of the biggest cultural events that integrates the official calendar of the capital of São Paulo, will take place between the days October 7 and 23 (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) in the Complex of Ibirapuera Gym .

Casa Rios celebrates 1 year of life with a special 6-course menu
O Casa Rios restaurant completes its first year of existence – and very successfully – with a menu that always seeks to put at least one of the ingredients on the grill.

To commemorate the occasion, the chefs Giovanna Perroni and Rodrigo Aguiar count on the partnership of a team of professionals of different styles to execute a menu where the ember is the star.

O maza an Asian restaurant located in Itaim Bibi, holds the first edition of Sake Experience – a 14-step menu paired with Mega Sakê, on the day October 9th.

With preparations made with fresh fish, in the best omakase style – chef’s proposal Seiji Enokizono and harmonization of Salatiel Rosa and Fabio Ota – Beef tongue tataki and Polanco caviar paired with Sakê Niida will be served; Wagyu and Karasumi sushi paired with Zaku Miyabi Sake; scallop sushi at Kombujime paired with Sake Niida; grilled unagui and honeycomb paired with Sakê Gassan, and many other dishes.
For dessert, Anko (bean jam), honey ice cream and grilled mochi. The menu has a closed price of R$ 790. It is necessary to make a reservation in advance.

Pasta Shihoma welcomes Claudia Casu, pasta specialist from Sardinia

Creator of the “Sardegna Cooking Studio”, where she researches, develops and promotes the old Sardinian cuisine, Claudia worked for 20 years as a designer before dedicating herself exclusively to the kitchen, in perfect harmony with her training, she invented different shapes of pastes, which she creates using traditional Sardinian tools such as brass wheels and tweezers.
