Federal District allows the use of masks from this Wednesday (3)

The use of masks in open environments will no longer be mandatory in the Federal District, from this Wednesday (3). The decision was published in a decree by Governor Ibaneis Rocha (MDB) last October 26th.

In closed places, such as commercial establishments, gyms and public transport, use is still mandatory.

The establishments will also be able to reduce the distance of the tables from two meters to one meter of spacing.

In addition, the Federal District is also preparing for the return of 100% of students from the public network in person in schools, which were closed between March 2020 and June 2021.

In private schools, the distance between the students’ desks will no longer be necessary. Still, measures are needed to avoid crowding in schools.
