A new movie “Fantastic Four: First Steps” debut in theaters in July this year. Marking the six phase of Marvel’s cinematic universe (MCU), it brings a new outfit to the classic superheroes of the popular imagination.

Everything you need to know before seeing new “fantastic quartet”
Movie Plot
In its original story, “Fantastic Four” explores four scientists who gain special powers after being teleported to a parallel universe. They need to use these mutations in favor of earth survival when an ancient ally becomes a mortal enemy.
The new movie will be set in the 1960s and will win a new “face” over films released in the 2000s, for now belonging to Marvel Studios and not 20th Century Fox, which produced three films with the characters.
The first film in the franchise was released in 2005 and had IOAN GRUFFUDD like Mr. Fantastic. Other cast names were Chris Evans, Jessica Alba and Michael Chiklis, who play the other team members.
For the new plot, they are forced to balance family life with that of superheroes. They must defend the land of Galactus, a god of space, and the silver surfer, who intend to end the planet.
New phase of MCU
“Fantastic Four: First Steps” will also be responsible for starting MCU’s six phase. Phase five will end with “Thunderbolts*” movie that arrives in theaters just before, on May 2.
Films that will integrate the new phase of Marvel will be “Avengers: Doomsday”, “Avengers: Secret Wars” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” expected to debut between 2026 and 2027.
Starred cast/ Who’s who
“Fantastic Four” will be starring Pedro Pascal like Reed Richards, Mr. Fantástico; Vanessa Kirby like Sue Storm, the invisible woman; Joseph Quinn like Johnny Storm, the human torch; and Ebon Moss-Bachrach giving Ben Grimm to life, the thing.
The new feature film will also be directed by Matt Shakman (“Wandavision”, “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters”). The script is Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.
Assembly there Stanley Kubrick and “2001: an odyssey in space”
To Empire magazine, Shakman said the inspiration for filming was the filmmaker’s style STANELY KUBRICK (“The Enlightened”, “mechanical orange”).
“I really wanted it to seem that it was done in 1965, the way Stanley Kubrick would have done,” he said.
Still, he revealed that he bet on scenarios and practical props. The production included a four -meter spacecraft miniature, similar to how Kubrick used miniatures in “ 2001: A odyssey in space. ”
“We use old lenses and adopted an approach to film production that looks more of the time,” explained the director.
“And there is no easter eggs … eventually, this world will meet with other worlds but, for now, is our own corner,” he concluded.
Silver surfer
In addition to Galactus, the Fantastic Four will have to face the silver surfer, played by Julia Garner (“Inventing Anna”).
Also known as Shalla-Bal, the character appears in some comic comics from Marvel Comics. She first appeared in “The Silver Surfer #1” (1968), HQ created by the writer Stan Lee together with the artist John Buscema .
Shalla-Bal is portrayed as the loving interest of Norrin Radd, the silver surfer – who even gained prominence in the cinema in “Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer” (2007)-and is the empress of his utopian planet, Zenn-La.
Its main skills include a longer life than humans and the ability to restore life in the ecososphere of Zenn-it, thanks to a fragment of the cosmic power of the silver surfer deposited in it.
She lives a little devotion to Galactus and becomes increasingly cold for it.
Robert Downey Jr. Back?
Rather iron man, actor Robert Downey Jr. will return to Marvel to live one of the studio’s greatest villains, the Doctor Destination . For now, there are only rumors that he will make a first participation as the character in “Fantastic Four: First Steps.” This is because, he is a traditional enemy of the fantastic family.
Fantastic quartet like Avengers?
The characters in the new “Fantastic Four” are already confirmed in the ‘viners’ “Avengers” films: “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars”. Therefore, the plot of heroes in the new phase of Marvel should not end anytime soon.
