Maiara, from the duo with Maraisa, is being criticized on social media for a show that took place last weekend, in Florianópolis (SC). In addition to receiving complaints about a published photo, a video showing some moments of the performance is circulating on the web and internet users commented that she appeared to be drunk on stage.
In addition to the sisters, singer Simone Mendes also performed at Stage Music Park. She even returned to the stage when the audience noticed some of Maiara's unusual behavior, such as throwing herself on the floor during one of the songs.
The country singer also forgot parts of some lyrics and suddenly changed the repertoire, leaving Maraisa visibly confused by the situation. At another point, Maiara appears drinking a bottle of drink. When publishing photos from the night, she wrote: “From yesterday in Floripa”. It didn't take long for the audience present at the show to take their stance.
“It was my first show of theirs, I was disappointed, frustrated, for not having seen the show I wanted to see (sic), sorry, I thought it was a lack of respect towards us fans who had been in line since 8pm”, wrote an internet user.
“Falling on stage, treating team members badly, disrespecting Maraisa, singing wrong, not respecting the order of things. I thought it was absurd! Simone had to return to the stage to save at least a little of the show, what a shame. What we witnessed was unbelievable, nothing professional on Maiara’s part,” said another.
“They have every right to have fun! But I was working, it's definitely a lack of respect! Does anyone here go to work drinking? Complicated! It was supposed to be a great show with the three of them!”, concluded a third.
A CNN Brazil contacted the country duo's advisors, who preferred not to comment on the matter. One of the videos circulating on TikTok has already accumulated almost 1.5 million views. Watch in full:
