During a show in Hyde Park, London, singer Pink received a gift, at least, unusual.
While many artists receive letters or stuffed animals thrown onto the stage, Pink was surprised to open a bag thrown on the floor and notice that there were ashes inside.
When interrupting the presentation of the song “Just Like A Phil”, she asks the fan: “Is this your mother?”. The singer is unresponsive in front of the audience and still holding the present.
“I don’t know how to feel about it,” said the artist. Still dismayed, Pink takes a few seconds to sing normally again.
The video went viral on social media and several netizens spoke out about the situation.
“What a lack of respect for the mother’s body. What is the singer going to do with the ashes of someone she doesn’t even know? In the middle of a show yet.”, commented fans.
Others questioned whether the case was a big fan of the singer. One person came forward and told a possible story about the ashes.
“So my friends were close to this lady and the back story is that her mother couldn’t go out much because she was very sick when she was still alive. So that she can get out now, this lady takes her ashes to the places. It’s not what everyone would do, but if it comforts that woman, that’s up to her.”

Later, on her social media, Pink shared a cute moment during the show. A photo of her daughter Willow, age 11, on stage.
As a result of her marriage to former motocross racer Carey Harts, they have another 6-year-old son together. Willow sang with her mother the song “Cover Me In Sunshine”, a duet recorded in 2021, between the two.
