Fabiana Justus says she still wears a mask to see her daughters; understand

The influencer Fabiana Justus 37, spoke on his social networks this Monday (2) about the care she and her immediate family still have after her bone marrow transplant . Even though I have already passed the first hundred days — which is the critical period –, she said that she still takes immunosuppressants, which makes her health fragile.

“Not everyone can live an isolated life so that I can run fewer risks. Obviously we take all possible precautions,” began Roberto Justus’ heiress. She said she is cautious when dealing with her daughters — who are going to school — but that she does not want to deprive them of a “normal” life.

“He can’t isolate himself one hundred percent and my daughters can’t not have a normal life, especially after everything. The impact on their lives would be much greater if I tried to deprive them of going to school, of having a normal life,” said Fabiana.

Regarding her relationship with her husband, the influencer said that since he is — unlike children — concerned about not getting close to sick people, she stays close to him without a mask.

“My husband went to work every day at the office last week for the first time. He spent the whole year working from home, and every meeting he had to go to in person he wore a mask, and he still does that,” said Justus.

According to the influencer, on September 23rd she will complete six months since the bone marrow transplant, when she will begin to reduce immunosuppressants and take all necessary vaccines.

Fabiana has been undergoing treatment for leukemia since the beginning of the year. At the end of March, the influencer underwent a bone marrow transplant and, in June, she was cleared to take the vaccines again.

Due to cancer and the transplant, Roberto Justus’ daughter falls into the immunosuppressed category.

According to infectious disease specialist Álvaro Furtado, from the Hospital das Clínicas at the University of São Paulo (USP), immunosuppressed people have a more fragile immune system compared to the general population.
