Explosion in Crimea: Ukraine’s secret services planned the explosion, says Moscow

The investigation by the Commission appointed by the Russian Ministry of Defense into the explosion in Crimea has been completed, with President Vladimir Putin being informed that it was a terrorist attack.

According to RT India on Telegram, the Russian president was informed that the explosion was planned by the Ukrainian intelligence services.

As it was reported, Russian divers on Sunday examined the damage caused by the powerful explosion on the Kerch (or Crimea) Strait Bridge, which is a famous symbol of Moscow’s annexation of the Crimean peninsula and a key supply route for the forces fighting in southern Ukraine.

“The situation is manageable – it’s unpleasant, but not fatal,” Crimea’s Russian governor, Sergei Aksyonov, told reporters. “Of course, emotions have been fired and there is a healthy desire for revenge.”

Let’s remember that Vladimir Putin decided to convene the Security Council of Russia for Monday in the wake of the deadly explosion on the Crimean bridge.

On Saturday, Putin signed a decree to tighten security measures on the bridge (with Russia’s FSB security service to take responsibility), as well as the infrastructure that supplies electricity and natural gas to Crimea, and ordered the investigation that was completed today.
