The VKontakte team announced the launch of a new function on the social network – communities on the social network were allowed to publish exclusive videos only for their own subscribers.

As part of the VK Video platform, the VKontakte community administrators were provided with updated content access settings. Now you can decide who will have access to exclusive videos: for example, only subscribers. In addition, it became possible to provide access to videos by link – including viewers who are not registered in the social network.

As the developers note, the innovations of “VK Video” are designed to provide authors with the opportunity to organize a creative space – and, if necessary, independently identify a circle of like-minded people among a wide audience, providing them with expanded access to video content.
You can also change your privacy settings for comments on community videos. All users, members of the group, or only its administrators can share their opinions under the video.
