Several former Big Brother Brasil participants published support for Davi Brito (the 2024 edition of the reality show) on social media after he was excluded from a conversation in the early hours of this Saturday (27).
Among the people who took a stand are Gil do Vigor, Fred Nicácio and Domitila Barros. Check it out below.
“Us for us”, wrote Camilla de Lucas, comparing Davi’s exclusion to what she herself went through in schools in the past.
“I know there are people who will say that it is victimization, that it is a joke, but it is very difficult to see what is happening to Davi now on television,” said Domitila in a video published on Instagram.
Lumena Aleluia reflected on “cancellation culture”.
“It is impossible not to reflect on how 'cancel culture' is only rigid for black women, black men and LGBTQIAPN+ people. Everyone makes mistakes, but we can’t,” she said.
“Hang in there, David. Last year it was me”, commented Fred Nicácio.
Gil do Vigor said that, for him, “what is happening inside is a reflection of what is happening outside: people judging us without having walked in our shoes”.
On Friday (26), former BBB18 and winner of that edition, Gleici Damasceno, even accused “these girls”, without naming names, of racism against Davi. The case had already had repercussions on the internet.
In addition to the ex-BBBs, a hashtag in support of Davi went viral on social media this Saturday, including comments and support from famous actors and presenters.
