Gospel singer Pedro Henrique passed away last Wednesday night (13). The 30-year-old artist had a sudden illness during a performance in Feira de Santana, in Bahia.
So far, the suspicion is that the musician has suffered a heart attack. However, the report with the official cause of death has not yet been made available to family members.
On social media, fans, internet users and artists from the gospel world mourned the loss.

In a statement, Toda Music, the singer’s record label, recalled Pedro’s power.
“Pedro was a happy young man, a friend to everyone. Only child. A present husband and a super dedicated father. There is no pastor or Christian in Brazil who says anything other than this: – Pedro is simple, he is a believer! What a smile! How nice! What voice! Our kind of people are great to have around”, says an excerpt from the statement.
In Instagram stories, singer Bruna Karla also shared a memory alongside the artist. “And one day we will all be together praising our God with joy in Eternity,” she wrote.
Soraya Moraes, considered one of the references in the gospel scene, winner of the Latin Grammy four times, regretted what happened when sharing the record company’s publication. “Life is a breath,” she recalled.
Singer and composer Davi Sacer also wished his family his condolences.
“May God comfort the hearts of the family and all of us who feel his departure, but we understand and believe that we will all meet in Glory and sing together in the great choir of the redeemed”, he lamented.
Singer Fernanda Brum, with whom Pedro Henrique sang the song “Toca-me”, which already has more than 170 thousand views on YouTube, recalled her first meeting with the artist.
“… I saw him ministering, I asked him to sit there with me, and at the end of the service I went to talk to him. Pedro, what a joy to meet you!”, he said.
Former member of the groups “Altos Louvores” and “Voices”, Jozyanne, recalled that Pedro and his wife, Suillan Barreto, were two gifts in her life.
“… We believe that one day we will be together worshiping in heaven”, he posted.
